Herman is the Chief Financial Officer and a Conducting Officer of Gestron Asset Management SA. He joined the firm in 2026 and brings over 18 years of experience in finance across private equity, structured finance and asset management. Prior to joining Gestron, he was Director of Finance & Corporate Development at LetterOne, an international investment business headquartered in Luxembourg. He began his career at KPMG before moving to Barclays. Herman is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) from Stellenbosch University.
