Basti joined Gestron in 2025 and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring primary and direct co-investments. Prior to Gestron, Basti was an Investment Manager in the Private Equity & Co-Investment team at MEAG, the asset manager of Munich Re Group. He previously worked in MEAG’s Capital Market Research team. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bayreuth, as well as a BA in International Business Studies from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg.
